     If you have forsaken all the kingdoms of the world, then the world will hate you because you will not join them (John 15:19). That is the beginning of being lonely. Then your friends won't have anything to do with you. They think they have a kook on their hands.

     So-called Christians say you are an embarrassment to other Christians because of your beliefs. Perhaps hardest of all is family members who become your enemy because of your allegiance to Jesus Christ.
